Zak Resnick is currently starring as SKY in the hit Broadway show Mamma Mia!  

Zak Resnick earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Carnegie Mellon University's School of Drama, where he double majored in Acting & Musical Theatre. He also had the pleasure of spending six months abroad in Sydney, Australia where he studied at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA).

Zak is currently making his Broadway debut  in the lead role of Sky, "the sexy and shirtless fiance to Sophie (played by the lovely Christy Altomare, also a Broadway debut)" His other credits include: Chad in "Disaster" (Triad); "Lucky Guy" (Little Shubert); Gray in "The Cure" (Chernuchin Theatre/NYMF); and Raleigh in "The Flood" (Prospect Theater Company). Workshops: Jason in "BARE: A Pop Opera;" Fector in "Dogfight" (Lincoln Center Theater); "The Blue Flower" (Second Stage); Fred Astaire in "Castle Walk;" and Heath in "Harmony, Kansas" (Barrow Group). TV/Film: DJ in "Elixir" (ABC Family) Albums: Thirteen Stories Down (Jonathan Reid Gealt); What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up (Scott Alan); Love Me, Love Me Not (Joey Contreras); Lullaby of Broadway (The Broadway Boys).


Zak has performed numerous times at many of NYC's venues, including: Carnegie Hall, Birdland Jazz Club, Joe's Pub, Le Poisson Rouge, The Laurie Beechman, The Canal Room, The Metropolitan Room, The Sidewalk Cafe, The Iridium Jazz Club, and many more.
